Any fans of small cameras?

Got a Minolta Vectis 25 (APS) with a few frames left to shoot. Got four more rolls in the fridge.

Pentax ME Super - so compact.

I guess you could consider my Agfa Isolette II to be small.

16mm Steky III

I'm partial to the Rollei 35 and the Olympus PEN-EE for their size.
The Bolsey B2 is also very compact for its time.

I have sold most of them when prices started to go up for those cult cameras, just kept Rollei 35S. But I start missing a high end P&S, so now again started looking at Minolta TC-1 or maybe Fuji Tiara... But they are quite expensive now and knowing that it can brick any moment...

I’ve always been a fan of small cameras, but unfortunately none of the ones available these days are best for my photography. The smallest I like right now is the Fujifilm X-E3.

Do you still use your Minolta 16's and Minoxes? You might drop into Submini-L.groups.io for other submini fans.

Haven’t used them for a while. My current fixation is seeing what oddball lenses will cover (or, almost cover) 4X5. I build lightweight 4X5 cameras out of hobby plywood and foam core and cardboard and use B&W paper as negatives. It is cheap pandemic isolation fun.
However someday......
I believe I had an old login to submini-L but it’s been years since I’ve checked in. Better check it out soon.

My Small Cameras:

Kodak Flash Bantam by Mike Connealy, on Flickr

I have a lot of small cameras, but these three are the smallest full-featured ones.
All three have excellent lenes and have made nice pictures for me. The first two shoot 127 and the last needs 828 film. I have been able to roll my own for the first two thanks to the gift of a bulk roll of color. For my 828 cameras I have rolled 35mm into 828 backing paper and also used 35mm with no backing. I've also used some expired film in the native formats.

The Flash Bantam is really nice. I too use 35mm in mine without backing paper. I’ve also slit 120 to 35mm since I have so much expired film to play with.

I remember when I found my first Leica Mini and I was thrilled with the purchase at a Pawnshop for $35.00. I had already been using an Olympus XA2 and an XA. I gave the XA2 to my son and he left it on the roof of his car and drove off. Well when I found an XA3 I was thrilled again and found a flash for it in Deep South Texas. It is always great to have those small 35mm cameras around.
