any new rumours about the 27?

I can imagine rationalization for having two bodies but three is a complete overkill from my point of view. I don't believe that anyone really needs all of them, especially considering the fact that it's the same sensor. But that's just me.

how many cameras do you have now?

X-E1 and my trusty Spotmatic F. Used to have a 450D too but I selled it and all the EF lens after a few months with X-E1. I couldn't justify having two similar digital bodies even though 450D had advantages for telephoto purposes at the time. But again, that's just me, you probably have different requirements / expectation from your camera gear.

Maybe you don't need it, but is there anything wrong with wanting 3?

i have 5 cameras, 3 digital and 2 film...2 of the digital are fuji and both film bodies are the same.
you can see how i do things? i like similar or the same camera, mostly used together but also with back up in mind.

but maybe 3 is too much...

That's actually exactly what I meant. I might want to have all the cameras in the world in my closet but I can't rationalize having more than two of each kind. Having many differently purposed cameras is okey though as long as none of them gather dust sitting on the shelf. And that's just my personal attitude towards camera gear. :)

Actually at the moment I wouldn't mind having another camera like X-M1 as my X-E1 is getting a dose of hotpixel mapping in the service center. It was just a single pixel but it annoyed me as hell after I've found it. On the other hand, it let me shoot film and I've really enjoyed that. Backups are important but film is awesome too.
