Anybody bought from KEH?

Have bought several Leica items off them over the years, starting with my first Leica IIIa and 5cm f/3.5 Elmar. I have always had great luck with their conservative grading. An ugly 13.5 Hektor that had spotless glass. Only thing that was as described was a dim VIOOH variable viewfinder, which I've cleaned since.

Last experience was great too. A week ago I ordered an "Inoperative" Leica I from them (with the idea of having it CLA'd), it arrived within a few days and I found the shutter to be working fine. The take-up spool sits slightly loose on the winding stem, but apart from that it appears to work. 🙂

I got a great deal on an UG large format lens whose only defect was Schneideritis. Also bought a few "as-is" items that were mostly fine - just needed new batteries, foam, etc.

Generally, I think there are better deals out there if you look hard enough (craigslist, internet forums, sometimes even ebay), but if you want something moderately soon, inexpensively, and reliable, KEH is the way to go.
