Knowing how this group likes to do various projects such as one camera/one lens, I'm just curious if anyone has tried or is doing the Solo Photo Book Month project. I didn't do it last year, but am kinda intrigued at the idea. Some of the PDFs produced of 2008 material are pretty good.
Just wondering if anyone else is having a go.

With your eye Todd you'd probably have one of the better portfolios out there! You should try it if something comes to mind..

Have just uploaded mine...
My theme is the 2 rivers that flow through Zurich. I took pictures along the river banks on 5 weekend mornings on Fujifilm 160S and NPH with my Rolleicord and Mamiya 6. You can view the pdf here:

Yep, did it last year, in the middle of it this year. It's a fun a challenge. This is mine from last year: Our Robot Overlords
And here is what I'm working for this year.
Nick, nice book. How did you generate the PDF?

I started laying out the book using Blurb's Booksmart software. For the SoFoBoMo upload I made screenshots from Booksmart then combined them into a pdf with Acrobat.

Screenshots, that's clever. I might give that a try.

You could also just layout a standard page in Photoshop using guides for placement, and creating new layers for additional pages with different pages. Photoshop can also generate pdfs.

I'm doing it this year - albeit not very well. I shot in about 2 hours an dneed to put together this weekend. I'm hoping to use open office, which will output files as pdf's I think.
The theme is the back yard and includes pictures by my 7 year old also.
