Initially, I thought the Fujifilm X-M1 was lame. However, the more I looked at it, and thought about how I used the Fujis, the more I figured it could work for me (and would make some shots easier). I figure it'll be a good waist level camera with the 27mm. Being able to actually frame well when you are holding it above your head or below your knees added something to what I already use.
The X-M1 is $699 and $799 with the zoom. I generally hate zooms, so I thought I'd ignore the zoom. However, then I thought it would be nice to have a $100 24mm 3.5 equivalent lens for the X-Pro1. AND it's isn't that big at that focal length... so I went for it. I probably won't even zoom. I'll use it like a 16mm prime.
I decided to get the Brown model with silver zoom (which means I have to wait a month or so). Shallow, I know, but I wanted it to look different than my other Fujis (X100s and X-Pro1).
Has anyone else thought about getting this zoom?
