I like the size, and don't mind high contrast. Will use on M8, and M6.

I've previously used the CV 28's, Biogon 28/2.8, and currently use an old Canon 28/2.8 for b/w and low contrast.

How is the contrast of this new lens compared with the 28/3.5 and Biogon 28/2.8?

How is the flare rejection compared with the CVs and Zeiss? Thanks!

This was taken with the Elmarit 28/2.8 Asph. wide open.
Hope it helps.

I dont own one and the below is from much reading elsewhere including Reid tests and those who bought and loved and bought and sold it on:

Very flare resistant - as good as it gets.
High contrast like the ZM Biogon
A little less smooth bokeh than the ZM, CV 1.9 or older lenses.
Better in corners than ZM biogon
The tonality you either like or don't, which suggests it is distinct. some say 'coarse, lumpy or lacking in subtle variations' not that I know what this really means!
