sample photos? I've seen how good and interesting the 35/2 is with film backs, just curious how it is with the crop and on the RD1?

Fantastic lens. It uses the same optical formula as the early Leica 35mm f2 Summicrons.
Very sharp, nice contrast, small, light, finely detailed images.
Highly recommended.
I notice the price for them on eBay is creeping up. A couple of years ago, you could get one for $200.
Now, they are hitting the $400-$500 range for a mint example.

Thanks Plasmat, I just got an Ultron so I'll have to wait, but it does seem like an excellent lens.
