I'm about to take my first tentative steps into the world of bulk loading and I've been looking at what films are available in bulk rolls. So far, the usual suspects (Tri-X, HP5+, Neopan 400) all seem to cost in the region of £35-40 for a 30m roll, but on this site they also sell Ilford Pan 400 at the bargain price of £19.99 for 30m.
I understand that Ilford makes Pan 100 and 400 as a budget option for selected overseas markets, but has anyone actually had any experience of using this film? How does it compare to HP5+ or any of the better known 400 speed B+W films?
