Wow. I'd never even heard of it, and I used to live in Brum. Thanks!

Some suggestions: a stepladder for height (or a longer lens and shoot from higher ground); the first pic would be stronger without the couple that draw the eye; the horizon often works better 1/3 up or 1/3 down, rather than in the middle.

These are however quibbles. Your pics make me want to go there, which is what it's about.

Thanks but you can't get higher there is a henge all the way round that is as high as you can get

Hah, I lived the first 26 years of my life within 25 miles of Arbor Low and, like Roger, had never heard of the place.

I'll be visiting it the next time I'm up that way. Thanks for drawing my attention to it.

Also took Archie when ever we go to these places he goes mad , you can see the highest part in the distance, i bought a great photo book last week "On Home Ground" by Denis Thorpe i highly recommend it if you can get a copy the front cover is the is the reason i went here i had been before but not with a camera
