Argus C-4 with stuck shutter

Hello,

Been enjoying reading the threads. There is much knowledge of camera repair here it seems. Bought a used Argus C-4 camera. The camera is nice but noticed the shutter would be "sticky" and now the shutter is stuck open. Do any of you know of repair sites or have suggestions? Thanks one and all.

Mine responded to lighter fluid on a cotton swab, gently on the shutter blades (from the rear of the lens, inside the camera). If it's stuck open though, that could be a problem. I have read that forcing this shutter can cause damage:

Thanks very much. It seems that repair (if not done by self) is quite more than another camera. I guess I will have to be gentle with it and see if there is anything I can determine. Was looking forward to taking pictures with it. But again, thanks!
