Arista Edu Ultra (Foma) / Rodinal (Adonal) users?

Hi Teddy, apart from the great tone (exposure and development), that's a wonderful portrait! It's very hard to get (well) three kids at the same time... It seldom happens! And the three of them look so sweet and interested... Amazing! Thanks for posting!
I think I'll order some foma100 in 35mm and 120 when I order my Tri-X...
Cheers,
Juan

Thanks Juan, my nephews can be hard to photograph. It seems that fomapan 100 is a good old fashioned formula. I love tri-x to, my favorite. They are both great with stand development, but foma has less punch. Thanks for starting an interesting thread were we can all compare and exchange recipes.

Fomapan 100 and Rodinal : ISO 80, proper metering, 1+50, 11 minutes, 20°C, standard agitation.

If you want to go meterless and expose at ISO 100 with no metering hassles : ISO 100, D76 1+1, 12 minutes, the same.
This is what I did in Barcelona some years ago during a trip for which my only stuff was a meterless (no battery in it) Rollei 35 and a large bunch of Fomapan 100 rolls :

Barcelona, MNAC - February 2011 - Rollei 35 Tessar - Fomapan 100 - D76 1+1

Actually I got excellent results with Rodinal by exposing this film at ISO 80 and carefully metering but with D76 1+1 the results look quite as nice. Plus, the highlights are not so easily blown away as they are with Rodinal... ;)

Excellent film. Really. I discovered it in Prague (bought some rolls by chance at Foto Pazdera) back in 2008 and never ceased to use it on a regular basis since.

Yet - it is way more sensitive to the green than all the other films marketed nowadays. Hence some different contrast and general look sometimes.

Best wishes for a prompt and full recovery Juan ! :)
