My grandmother and her best friend decided to take the journey of a lifetime when I was 1 year old. Why they didn't ask me to go with them, I don't know. Bummer. Before she died a few years ago, she gave me her suitcases of prints, negatives and slides for safekeeping.
Since then, scanning them all has been an unstarted project. Since I am debating getting rid of my Leica m9p and just shooting film, I am wanting to see if the whole scanning thing is for me in the long run. I figured I might as well tackle her pictures so my children (and others) can see what she saw.
Here are the first three. I converted them to black and white because some of the slides come out very red no matter what treatment I do to them. I hope to continue this thread an a regular basis.
