California (Bay Area, Northern) Aug. Bay Area meet-up?

Shall we agree on noon then at the green Washington Square signpost at Union and Columbus?

I assume you still taking about August 12, 2007 at noon Washington Square. If it is the 12th, I won't be there, but keep posting these meetings, I would love to attend one.
 
I thought it was Saturday the 11th too. Which is it? Sunday is not as good for me either...
 
In post #22 I suggested Sat. the 11th, & we seem to have gone with that date since. This is looking good, but it's a loss that Randy won't be there.
 
And I'm still sorry that I had to bail on you guys. Hope you all have a great time and get some great shots. And, as I said before, take some group shots so I can live vicariously.

This is the plan then. I guess the "spot" is near the signpost. The signpost is the better landmark. See you all tomorrow.

Hey guys, thanks to all who turned up. I enjoyed meeting you who had previously been, to me, handles and avatars on the other side of the continent. Randy, again, sorry you missed a vigourous walk, good discussion, & photo ops. Especially sorry about the reason you missed it. I'm going to be (typically) slow with my shots, as I used Kodak cine film my son gave me. It has to be specially processed, yadda yadda. Not the best choice in retrospect. In addition, I'm making a week long stop in B.C. on the way home. I'll see what I can do to speed up the posts once I get home - quality of shots notwithstanding. Rich, thanks for the attempt to find a source for a bulk film loader. That was another lesson in buyer beware for me.

Okay, I just got back into town. Once again, really sorry to have missed this gathering but glad to hear you guys had a good time. I can't wait to see some of the great shots I know you guys got!

Had a blast and it was nice to meet everyone..I was exhausted from all that walking. Anyone have any photos yet? I haven't had the time to develop mine.
 
I've got one of the b&w rolls that I shot washing right now, but there aren't any shots of the group on it. Photodog posted some photos in his gallery.
 
Wish I had been there, I was in Long Beach at the boat races. Please be sure to post again, if there are other meetings. Thanks for your efforts.
