Sorry I have to ask another question about auto focus on this camera. i thought if i set custom setting at 1-1 instead of 1-0, i could half press the shutter button and lock the focus point, while the focus is on CAF. when i got my second roll back, it does not seem to be the case. i also noticed that, when i kept my pressure on the shutter while moving my camera lens, the focus changes, instead of being locked as it should. what did i do wrong and how to make this feature work?
please don't tell me to use the lock button on the back of the camera to lock the focus. i do not like that "wrongly placed" button location and can't afford to search the button beforfe the picture is gone. so it won't work for me.
And please don't tell me to use the SAF instead of CAF either as the shutter will have the priority all the time for me. SAF does lock the focus point while the shutter is half way pressed. But when the focus is not done rightly, the camera refuses to take shots. That might be a big problem for me as I'd rather the camera takes pictures as i wish even if the focus is not quite ready.
