Those are nice photos. Definitely in the spirit of rangefinder photography. Assuming your focus is accurately adjusted, in most cases you should focus on people's eyes. Human brains are sort of hard-hired that, if they see someone's face, they almost immediately look for the eyes and expect them to be in focus. You were shooting in some challenging light, so focusing on the face and eyes can be difficult. Also, was there ever an answer to the question about verticle RF adjustment? There's an adjustment screw somewhere, but I can't recall where. Usually the front plate has to come off.

i couldn't adjust the rf because of the tiny little screws. i don't have the right screw drivers for them. so i couldn't demount the top plate...for now...
