my wife and I stopped smoking when she was pregnant with our first child. We wanted to do everything possible for the health of our baby. SInce then I wonder how a pregnant woman can go on smoking, but I know there can be so many circumstances keeping people on the cigarettes.

Thank you, Andrew. The first thing I learned at the academy was that you should never judge a painting by a reproduction of it, but that this should always be done according to the original. The same applies to photos if one wants to assess their print quality. Erik.

This is an old, old Madonna and child photo but I still cherish it. Almost 25 years ago, down in Patzcuaro for Day of the Dead at a street day gathering for some folkloric enactments. FWIW the Mexican native workers are re-enacted as drunks. I do not make the rules, I only observe. Anyway right before me was this mother and child. The child has pierced ears and gold studs.
