I bought the BBB, the smaller bag with velcro fastening, and like backalley i found it too small for my RF kit which tends to be my RD1 and three lenses plus bits and bobs eg, batteries, memory cards, reading spex, notepad etc. Would probably suit one camera, one lens better.
I've just spent a week in Egypt and only used my compacts, a G11 and GRDIII. These along with the bits and bobs worked fine in the BBB. I used it all week, everyday and found it a really good 'manbag' as it hangs so close to your body, better than my Terraclime 100 and is very lightweight. The velcro fastening doesn't really bother me and th quality of the bag is good. I quite like the seperate pockets in the main compartment but I think the BBB2 may have suited my kit better.
I recently picked up a used Domke 803 and used this as my flight bag. This looks like the bag I've been needing for my RF kit. Smaller than my Hadley and bigger than my Domke F5xb.

BBB2: perfect for one body w/lens, 2 addl lenses, film, and other bits
BBB: perfect for one body w/lens, one lens, film, and other bits OR one digi-RF and a couple smaller lenses, cards and batts, and other bits
and they carry great diagonally (courier-style)
my 2 cents

Stephen,
How would the BBB-S2 work with a M8+35/1.4, MP+50/1.4, one extra lens, plus film, extra battery, etc.?
Also, would the above combo work if the extra lens was a Noctilux??

I'm thinking of getting a BBB. I know it'll fit the M8 w/lense + 1-2 extra lenses and some bits and bolts.. but will it fit and ipad along with setup? I'm thinking main pocket. If it does, then this is the bag for me definately!
Does anybody have experience with this yet? Ipad is:

I hope this means the stealth is back because I've been trying to buy one for six months and I missed the announcement on the Holiday orders that you took on the stealth model.

I do not understand the problem. The stealth version was simply not (with exception of one short run) produced. Period. I was considering the BBB2 in the summer and had no problem to exchange a few emails with guys from figitalrevolution rather quickly. I finally went with a large version (from Courierware who actually do also the BBB). Great product.
While I am not after another bag, I am curios what is about to come - maybe something that matches the new Fuji X100

I'm chilled. Your website musta been frozen because I did send the email request and I have asked the same questions on this forum. Bad communication from both sides I suppose.

I also went with a Courierware bag - I didn't want the blue panel of the regular BBB and the Stealth was not available.

Cool. Looking forward to hearing the good news!

My personal feedback is that I don't like the wider bottom, the new color, or the new price. I'd try ordering the bag to look at it in person, but your sales page says the bag is not returnable. If I can't get a basic black bag without velcro on the flaps and pockets then I guess I'm simply not interested in your products. I'm tired of holding out hope that the stealth might return so I'll order a Domke J-803 instead and see how it works out while saving a little money. Hope the new bag does well for you, but it's still not for me.

I can't say I'm a fan of the wider base. As someone who predominantly uses one lens, with one spare, I don't need that wide of a bag.
Good luck with it though, I enjoy the site. Looks like its courierware for me.

How big is it? I didn't see the size listed anywhere.

Took a look at the new bag Stephen and was a little disapointed that changes were minimal. I think I expected something more like extra pockets or whatever. Anyway the extra width may be a good idea as I have the original BBB and on occaision depending on what gear I'm carrying replcing the camera back in the bag requires a bit of wriggling to get in. I believe the extra space would help without making the bad too big or bulky. Unfortunately, I won't be ordering as I don't think it's worth it over the BBB I already own. Having said that Stephen I do rate the quality of your bags and recommend them as a consideration to others. My BBB is the bag I use more than any of my others. I have a Domke F-803 (still too stiff yet), a Billingham Hadley (too big most of the time and gets used only when the extra space is needed), Terraclime 100 (a very good bag and cheap but no inserts).
When travelling abroad the BBB goes flat in my case and is used on arrival and is so pleasant and light to carry.
All the best with your sales Stephen.

Scroll down to the FAQs:
<<<Question: What is the weight and size of the BBB-T?
Answer: The Bare Bones Bag empty weighs in at 13.9oz! The size is approx 9″ x 11″ x .6″. >>>
I think the .6" is meant to read 6" though.

<bump> For more discussion. I think it is great that you have made some evolutionary changes as a lot of people, not me, need more space for SLR's and various other gear. I do think the Stealth (in solid black, if possible), would fit more my needs of carrying an M-body camera, one or two lenses and some film. The black color is certainly better for my needs.
Any chance of the Stealth being available again (in black)?

NO BAG, one RF, with one Lens, a few rolls of Acros 100 in my pockets
Non-Pro, so I don't need to have a bag if I don't to.

oooh, the bbbt looks fantastic. might replace the two bags that I shuffle between (one, being too big at time & the other can be too small at times)
