Batman v Superman Nikon RF

Went to see the above film last night and was surprised to see a Nikon Rf, black paint either a S3 or SP with what looked to be re-issue 50mm.

I saw the movie as well, and noted the Nikon RF scene, which is quite prominent. I thought the movie was pretty good and had quite a few cameo appearances.

I thought it was a good movie, a lot of people didn't like maybe too dark. but seeing that Black Nikon S3
was a nice touch, no Digital!

definitely a reissue with the millenium nikkor... but who would consider that strap safe for even a prop....

Funnily enough my Millennium Nikkor fits fine on the BP S3 original body I have 😉
The lens also bears an uncanny resemblance to my Olympic 50mm as well 😉😉

So good was the re-issue that from these shots none of the "tells" are clearly visible there, I agree a re-issue is most likely. If the shots on Flickr were not private a larger view may have helped. ie if the film reminder showed 24 then job done, but sadly it looks to be in the 36 position.

If you watch the film its a real camera, the bad guy takes the back off removes the film and throws the camera on the ground. It seems a lot of work to go to especially when the camera is destroyed. I could imagine if the camera was just used as a prop it maybe belonged to one of the crew but not if it gets trashed. Maybe the film has a deal with nikon.

I would suspect the camera that actually was trashed was a dummy prop, the magic of the movies.

With a bit of levels in Ps you can just see at the edge of the frame before the serial what I presume is the S3 initials so it must be a re-issue.
