Beautiful cameras you are not using any more ...

Olympus E-P1 + 17mm : giving it away in kent's decisive challenge competition.

Thinking of selling some beauties to fund a M Monochrom, but it will be hard parting with them and I know I will regret it

Hasselbald 203FE + FE 110/2 : not use since re-obtaining a Noctilux after a 10 year gap
Hasselblad Flexbody : too lazy to carry a tripod
Hasselblad SWC/M CF : 21mm on M9 has me covered these days
Hasselblad PC-Mutar shift converter : re-purchase of something I had many years ago but have never gotten around to using

Never eBay, perhaps a RFF add but prefer the security of selling via a shop on a commission basis - but I don't know of such a place in the US ( used to use Ffordes in Scotland )

Perhaps you would find more pleasure gifting them to a young enthusiast who would use them rather than getting a minimal return from them on eBay?

I like the idea of this. And it is how I came upon 2 of my own collection. One day when I find someone I feel one of the unused ones would be a fit for, I will do so myself. I actually have dreamed about this, giving them the camera, some film, and then seeing what they do with it, what kind of photographer they become.

As far as my collection goes, I have 14 or so cameras currently. Some I don't use because I just don't like using them. Others I only use when the mood strikes. I don't think I'd sell any or part with any aside from the above comments, one day. My need to collect, my OCD, they both tell me I am missing out on something by giving one up.

Don't know how 'beautiful' these cameras are, but these ones have been sitting around far too long:

-Kiev III (1954) with two lenses
-Pentacon Pentina with two lenses (and the camera actually works!)
-KW Reflex Box
-Hasselblad 500CM, which belonged to an uncle of mine

I'm hoping to put one or more of them back in use this year. The Pentina, in particular, is a surprising little camera, and produces some very fine photos.

I did give one camera away this year (to my niece who has developed an interest in photography), and that was a truly beautiful Ricoh TLS 401 (black body) that was given to me about 14 years ago. I made her promise that if she ever got tired of using it, that she was to pass the 'free' camera to someone else, thereby continuing the tradition.

Petriflex 7 slr. A beautiful (in an ugly way), heavy SLR. The 50mm 1.8 is really good, especially for black and white. I should use it more, but it's so big and bulky compared to the M2 or the OM10 that I never bother. I think I shall take it out some time soon now this thread has prodded my conscience.

Got a Bronica RF645 with 45/65/100 that I have shot 2 rolls with and since then is gathering dust. I have tried to get over it and sell it but I can't. Same with the Ikonta.
