Beautiful re-paint M4!

Oh, that is pretty! I wonder if they removed all the chrome before painting? Now all it needs is a little action with some sandpaper to give it that nice brassed look!:p

Pretty, indeed but I think it really needs about a mile* of film run through it 36 frames at a time rather than sand paper!:D

EDIT: *that seems to be just under 1000 rolls or 36000 frames. Not sure it that would be enough to wear the finish well or not?

It might not be so bad (as in bad, not bad meaning good) if it weren't for the grey brown or bronze (which shade is it) paint. It makes it too contemporary, like painting a Chippendale chair in shabby chic, a Ferrari 250 GTO in a modern pearlescent finish, or putting a bling gold strap on a Patek Philippe Officers Watch. They don't go together. And this an OLD film camera, accept it!

I was going to say the same as Steve said. It looks like a mix between titanium and bronze. Either Hamertone or black lacker would be preferable I think.
