California (Bay Area, Northern) Beer and Gear.

Just got back into town and saw this thread. Count me in. With my schedule, I prefer a weekend gathering. And a weekend gathering likely means more folks can join in (like Steve who's willing to travel all the way from Sacramento).

i'm in the south bay and would consider a social gathering if wife and kids would allow me to get away for a few hours.

For weekends, I'd love it we could make it a sunday, since I'm usually working on saturdays...(and not november 8th, since i'm teaching a darkroom class the 7th/8th in berkeley)
OTOH, if it's an evening gathering, i'm usually off work around 6ish on saturdays.

I really want to actually make it to one of these for once!

So is the general consensus that a weekend would be better?

I'm on the flip side of things and would prefer a weekday but I'm all about the compromises.
 
After october I could do tuesdays or fridays during the week if that helps... but for now pretty much sunday. or some evenings.

As long as its in the evening I can make it. I'll take a guess more people can make it if the get together is held on a weekend.

I've never been to zeitgest before so I don't know the crowd situation on weekdays vs weekends.
 
great veggie burgers @ zeitgeist. I'm in if I'm in if I'm in town. I consider it a long walk from BART, but I'd be driving in.
