plaubel makina I had one of these gems when I was fifteen. way to comlicated but one of the most svelt and hand holdable of the interchangable lense interchangable back six nine cameras out there

Only the IIS and III - the II had a in-lens shutter (it was one of the few cameras ever where lens changing meant unscrewing the front and rear cell).

As I just ran across it: With in lens (aperture plane) shutters, though. The thread asked for "behind the lens".

mine I think was a llls with that svelt but effective grip but its been a few years I was fifteen in 1954. I did not know the two had a shutter between the lens elements if it did then it is as you say unique in that you change both front and back elements rather than having a shutter in each lens.
