Hey all, I currently own a GW690III and somehow in the bag my lenshood got bent to the point where it won't come out of the barrel assembly. I am going to attempt to bend it back, but could anyone suggest a way to do it without doing too much cosmetic wear to the hood?

FWIW, I have bent Riflescope Hoods back in to shape with Sturdy needle nose pliers where the jaws were wrapped with several layers of Gaffer tape.
Just go slow, Just a little at the time.
When properly wrapped, The jaws should have a round profile.
That allows you to work gently at one area at the time, Restoring the original Radius of the hood little by little.
Start Clockwise and go just a little, making several passes so as to not overwork the metal.

It's hard to know what to do without a photo showing what is bent and how much access you have to it. if the hood is stuck slid back, I guess it's hard to even get pliers or such to the bent area?
If you have access to band saw, cutting a curve in a block of wood to make surface for bending can be helpful. Similar to the gaffer's tape idea.
