we should have a thing planned a little less spontaneously for once so you have a chance to come up here and join us.

I would really like that. I have about 10 days left on holiday right now, then work for about 3 or 4 weeks, and more holiday.
That sounds great. Give me a time and place to meet and I'll be there!
Looks good. What time do you think I should jump on the bahn to make it there by 1400??
Thanks, that is giving me a lot of choices in Berlin - is there an exact station I should get to?
Oh boy......
Contraaast, I Summon Thee!
Yep, the contrast is very harsh. In normal street situations the highlights get blown out, so 400 would still be a more reasonable choice.
The main reason for all this is also to get some control over the common problems with semi-stand developing high speed films. Next I will try changing the ratio of ascorbic acid and sodium carbonate I added to the mix, as there is this increased activity around some parts of the sprocket holes. The film was not completely fixed in that areas also and putting it back into the fixer did not help to reduce the overdevelopment there. A bit of fogging did occur too, but not as pronounced as with caffenol. Maybe Borax or increasing the amount of sodium carbonate helps.
Streaks did not occur, maybe due to a slightly increased agitation sceme. It would be good, if the agitation could be reduced even further for getting the contrast under control. The grain is surprisingly ok in my opinion. Some more testing to do.
