...and its opposite side names Bingamin, younger brother by 3 years, drowned on the same hot August day, probably in the Willamette River, a mile north.

They were making daisy chains. Were they aware the woman buried between them was named Daisy? I decided not to ask. Why spoil something so wryly lyrical and symmetrical?
