Hi, I'm excited because I got my last 3 rolls of film developed and almost all are in focus! They are all recognizable at least. I'm stuck with my one 90mm lens that is known to be difficult to focus, but I was happy. Lovely colours from the old leica glass. My shots are sometimes way off what I saw in the viewfinder. Flowers missing their heads and such. Maybe there was something wrong with the film I was first using. My film options are very limited at the moment(forgot to shop for film in Vancouver zut alors).
Anyway, I was so sure everything would suck I only got contact sheets which cost way more than I anticipated(abc colour lab). My husband thinks I should just get a photolab to put everything onto disc and then have the photos I want printed. No darkroom developing for me. Can't do the extra gear/materials expense and grew up with a darkroom in the house so I know the chemicals make me ill.
Are these discs rewritable? What if ever shot is useless? Someone mentioned a store on West broadway as being good, but any other ideas of where to go in the Vancouver area and what is most cost effective? London drugs is my closest option.
