Now that's just cruel. About a week ago I missed a beautifully brassed black paint F 'Apollo' in the local classifieds (by a few minutes apparently...).
By the way, your image link appears to be broken

My apologies! I wonder why that would be the case...I don't post images over here too much - what's the preferred image hosting site? I use google photos but apparently that's not working too well

I've noticed that some image links don't work for everyone, Jake. There is one thread I follow where one of the participants has posted numerous photos. I don't see them, but apparently most everybody else can. Here I have no problem in viewing your photo (and what a brassy beauty it is) but Nick can't view it. So it may be a Forum issue that needs to be sorted out by one of the Moderators.

That's disappointing to hear...It is what it is until someone fixes the issue, I suppose!

You could upload them to the gallery here, which has never given me any problems:

There's a restriction on size, however.

jrose125: It might be that one has to be logged in to Google to see the image. At least that is what I see if I copy the image link (which doesn't show here) from your post above and try to open it.

I don't know what you did, Jake, but now it has disappeared from my view too. Where do you host your files?

Thanks for those who let me know they couldn't see my image - I've been using google photos...what file hosting service do you guys use?

I've used Flickr for years. It's always been pretty straight forward and reliable for sharing images to forums.

It's Flickr, for me. Never had an issue posting anywhere, or viewing others photos. Plus they give you four options for how to post. Mind you, they have changed as far as the accounts go, so even though you can still get a free account, you are limited severely as to how many images you can store. If you opt for the paid "Pro" service, then the storage limit is much higher (more than I'll ever use), and there are other benefits included, such as making it difficult for someone to swipe your images (They used to claim it was impossible to steal the images, but that's been proven otherwise.)

Regarding posting photos in forum threads, a long discussion here (suggest start from the end for the most recent guidance):
