Best Phot Blog Site?

I use blogger.com. No idea if it's the best, but it doesn't slap adverts all over your site if you don't sign up for a paid premium account (as some others do), so that's why I chose it.

I second that, blogger.com seems user friendly and the presentation, depnding on the format you choose, compliments the photos you post. I like the look of B&W on a black background.
 
I use blogger/blogspot too. (The url is blogspot.com, the maintenance page is blogger.com) They are very liberal about storing images, don't force ads on you, and it's fairly easy to use. They were apparently acquired by Google, so now they make you associate the blogspot account with a Google/gmail account, but the names do not have to be the same.
 
The only major alternatives would be wordpress or typepad, both of which are also free, I believe, but have there limitations and caveats.

It depends on the nature of your blog. I am considering switching to pixelpost for my photo blog entirely. Simple, very direct and elegant. Images, rather than words. But I host my own stuff so it's a different story.
