A while ago I tried Invisible Shield screen protectors (see THIS THREAD) with awful results, ruined them, very disappointed. I then ordered from Best Skins Ever which is the same exact material. A piece 3" X 9" was $8.99 including shipping (vs $11.00 each for pre-cut from Invisible Shield, albeit those come with a little bottle of spray solution and a rubber squeegee).

The Best Skins Ever arrived, and I installed one on my M8 and also D-Lux 3. Measuring and cutting the material on the backing was easy. I decided since I had plenty of spare material, to try applying it dry, from one end with a credit card (the Invisible Shield rubber squeegee is too soft and flexible), like I do the PDA protectors. Worked like a charm, no bubbles, took 5 seconds to apply, and I didn't have to get soapy water all over my $5000 un-sealed M8!!

They do seem much more scratch-resistant than the PDA protectors. So I can recommend the Best Skins Ever 3x9" sheet, and forget their installation instructions with wet, just apply it like any other PDA protector, WITH ONE EXCEPTION: you have to get it in one shot, because these things stick better and are stretchier than PDA protectors, so if you try to lift it off to reposition it or release a trapped air bubble, you'll stretch it out of shape.
