Best way to focus with VC 50 1.5 Nokton ?

I've been using RF for years, for me the most important play in RF is focusing, its the control and the fun part when u choosing which to be focus.

recently i had acquired this lens VC 50mm f1.5 Nokton after read out many were agreed its one of sharpest among the nokton, yes it is !

but one thing i find out this lens, the focusing ring design is pretty bad, the ring surface is smooth and not comfort for fast focusing.

i wonder... did anyone know there is an accessories such as focusing tab or have anyone came across of DIY ?

Many people here have spoken of cable ties.

I use zip-ties and it works great.

Another method is to do a quick focus with the lens that gets you within a foot of the final focus, then (instead of focusing the lens) move your body slightly back in forth to get the final exact focus. I do it this when mostly for portraits to get the eyes tack sharp.
