Betterscanning and V700 users, quick question

does anyone use the MF holder by betterscanning.com?

my question would be, is it possible to scan the whole negative using doug's holders? I am especially after the markings on the sides of the film, could someone check who is using those holders?

Also, shall I order ANR glass with it or is it fine without?

I use his holder on the V700 but I still don't understand your question.

You get a bigger scan area than with the regular V700 holder, but you don't get the markings on the sides since they are so close to the edge of the roll.

You can't scan the whole neg using one of Dougs 120 film holders, but you could if you used his 'Mounting Station'. This holder takes up to 4x5 but you have to fluid mount or sellotape your negs to the glass of the mount.

I use the AN glass in the 120 holder and find you get a much better scan (holds the film flatter) - you just have to make sure the glass is clean and dust free!
