BGN Graded Leica M2 from KEH

So I shipped the camera back to them two weeks ago and got a reply that they were going to fix it. Yesterday it showed up back on my doorstep. Screws are installed and rangefinder is adjusted. The patch still has faint lines or "cracks" in it when viewed in certain light. Is this the beginning of balsam separation?

Off topic but I bought 5 Pentax 67 bodies from KEH one after the other to replace my Pentax 6x7 that had a stuck mirror. 3 of the bodies had the same issue mine had, one would not focus and 1 had numerous other problems. KEH accepted all of them without issue. Return labels and everything taken care of. I did have to go to the post office a lot though so wasn't very happy. Still, imagine if I did that with ebay purchases

An interesting topic.
KEH sent out a camera, with loose screws, which may have vibrated out..
What do you say when a brand new M3 in box, with 3 signatures of QC,
has no rangefinder linkage!! :bang:
Assembly finished in South Africa, where i lived at time.
Nine months later a sort of apology from Leitz.
No! I was never offered another body..
So maybe the gamble at KEH is better.
