He is a very good seller. I bought my Canon P from jiri_e and I would highly recommend him. I would probably still be using a canon rangefinder if they came with M-mount. Screw-mount was fun for a while but I just want better (newer) lenses now.

We should start a pool and try and guess how much this one will go for!

Typical Canon rangefinder-metal-curtain-ding that has little effect on shutter performance. Actually this is relatively minor. I've seen much worse.

Jim is right. These wrinkles are common. My 7 has the same and the shutter runs absolutely smooth and noiseless. Of my 50+ cameras I expect the 7 beeing among the last (together with a quite unused Nikon F) in need of a shutter overhaul.

This is how a originally black 7 should look like. The only flaw I can see is the meter scale window.

Keep in mind that even in chrome the 7 looks big, and lacks some kind of "sweet elegance" the Nikon or Leica RF have. In black it would look even bigger.
