I pick a chrome one...
Is the chrome one priced $3,500 less than the black one? After all, black cameras are much more pristine and professional.

Black chrome for me - when covering the red dot it's easier to match black tape to the black chrome than it is to find silver tape that matches the silver chrome.
If today's silver chrome had more of that iridescent colored sparkle that one sees on an M2 or M3, the choice would be tougher, though.

The black chrome starts to look like a nice option since there is nothing quite as nice as a golden brass patina showing thru a black finish.
Also, I have grown fond of older chrome lenses on my black RD1.
