Black or chrome?

If you see the silver & black version together the silver version looks significant larger to me.... so i'm in doubt .. i think the silver version is more beautiful but the black version catches less attention!

You are truer than you know: most of us will end up owning TWO of these beasties just like we did when Leica Ms were "only" film.

Just to prove what kind of a person I am, I voted for chrome in the poll, then went and ordered a black one.
But the fact that the new 2.8 28mm is available only in black decided me...

There are hardly any chrome lenses left these days - even the chrome aux finder has been discontinued. I still think a chrome body with black lenses looks great though.

all my M's are/were silver ....
but the M8 being a lot thicker than the previous M's looks a lot better in black in my opinion...
so if I get mine I guess, I will go for the black version!

I went for whicever came fastest. OK so its chrome but Im up and running. My impression is that very few black M8's have hit the UK. (are they purple with a wrap around IR filter?)
