Blackbird, Fly - A NEW 35mm TLR FILM Camera

I like the orange too, and the 35mm (can use bulk film). Nice, but I don't know if I like "toy" camera image quality. I mean, it's ok and funky and all, but I have so little time to shoot, when I do I think I prefer "regular" quality. :)

Seems to make squares on 35mm? Very interesting indeed. I like the classic Black, or Blue- they'd make a good pair, Black & Blue.

At $100 plus shipping from Japan(?), an old Lubitel might be even more interesting.
Depends, I guess, if you want to shoot 35mm...also, this camera should be pretty small.

I emailed Dirk Rosler at Megapearl's webshop last night about this camera.
An hour later it was added to his stock:

$100 would be a no brainer fr me. But $158 is a bit too much for an "impulse buy". Now I need to figure out what else I can not get so that I can get one of these...
Thanks, Nick.

hmmm how sad they look not only cheap but a little ugly to me. and the plastic focus cogs look like they're gonna be messed up in about half a year of use, Lubitel style.
I think I'll stick with my Yashica Mat 124 / G ladies and the 44 girls...

Talk about your premiums!!!!

If this was gas we would have to have a congressional investigation. Never mind, they are too busy spreading yellow liquid around the room.

seems like a cheap piece of c@#p to me. A gimmick to make someone a few bucks.
I wouldnt pay 2 cents for it.

After the way it was described I am surprised at the apparent quality of the photos as shown on the ebay site.

But orange? Give me a break!

I think it's a $75 camera in the scheme of things. There are some really cool cameras like this out there. I saw a few over in the window of an Amsterdam camera shop when I was there this spring. I've always like the handling of a TLR for some types of pictures, but at this price I can get a great Y'Mat 124G. And while 135mm film is easier to get, I would rather have the bigger negatives. I can apply lots of different looks in the computer or with a filter!

Sad thing that it's to expensive for an impulse buy and it does definitely not look nostalgic...remins me a bit of old GDR Design. But the idea of a 35 mm Rolleitype-TLR is appealing. I have an Agfa Ambiflex that looks like an SLR with two littel lenses.
