i disagree with most of what's said negatively about the M8. great files, easy handling, simple to adapt to most workflows. everyone seems to say the M8 is nothing more than a speed bump on the way to an M9. fwiw, i think what the M8 gives you is darn good and the M9 is only that much better.
An M8 really can't do a lot more than an RD-1 IMO ... a little less crop and a few more megapixels, that's it!
Or an Epson...? Ha, ha! Be serious!
'All' the Epson RD-1/RD-1s for sale here in Norway lately have not been in perfect working order.
4,000 US$ - which isn't all that much today.
For video. Then again there are dozens or hundreds of better video cameras than Fuji X100. 😀I suggest you get a Fuji X100 and same a load of money - much better than an M8😉
