No reviews on Amazon about the Bokkeh brand films. Never heard of them before, so I thought I'd ask here for user feedback and impressions.

Seems like it's repackaged motion picture film, Eterna being Fuji and Vision3 being Kodak.

Would anyone happen to know if the rem-jet layer has been removed? I'd hate to screw up my lab's Noritsu. (By lab, I mean Shopper's Drugmart, and by Noritsu, I mean their machine that will be junked as soon as something goes wrong with it).

"Motion picture Negative films contain rem-jet layer." is what they say about the Kodak.

Well, it looks like a source for Double-X without having to buy four hundred feet.

You can't remove the remjet backing until it's processed. Actually it's a very important part of the film and prevents light scattering in the film during exposure.

From the link, it appears Eterna was discontinued in 2013. Do you think the Bokkeh Eterna is rebadged expired film?

That's what I figured; that it was an anti-halation backing, and therefore pretty important. I assume with films like Cinestill, they add another anti-halation layer in place of the remjet? That's what I've heard at least, but I guess they don't do that with this "Bokkeh" film.
