Hi!
Does anybody hear about the Bolex 35mm camera?
Not Bolex 8mm or 16mm movie camera...
Recently I saw color slide films taken by Bolex camera during Korean War in 1952. The pictures are so vivid that I can't believe it was taken more than 50 years ago.
I search the web, but I can't find any about Bolex 35mm camera.
Does anybody know about the Bolex camera?
I want to see what it looks like.
Thanks!!!

Are you sure it wasn't a Bolsey? These were popular and medium priced in the early 50's. Check out http://www.photoethnography.com/ClassicCameras/index-frameset.html?BolseyB2.html~mainFrame for pix and info.

I agree with Dennis. They were around during the early 50s and, if I recall correctly, some were purchased by the government during that time. I recall seeing one, along with a Kodak Signet, at an Air Force photo installation.
