Good Morning Floyd, your PM mailbox is full, so I'll respond to you inquiry on a public forum.
I wear glasses and have found the use of a Leitz 5cm bright-line finder very helpful when using my Record III. It's a 6x9 / 8 exposures on 120 medium format RF camera. With the bright line finder, the framing is very close to the original viewfinder, a little less in fact and the parallax lines are a big help when shooting close.
The reason I sprung for the Leitz bright line finder is I have a Leica IIIf and the old screw mount Leica viewfinders are very squinty indeed. With the Leitz finder you get a 1:1 image, so that you can shoot with both eyes wide open. It is very different than looking into the tunnel of a small viewfinder. Also, the viewfinder shows a good bit of what's happening outside of the bright lines.
Truthfully, I didn't use the Agfa Record III all that much until I acquired the bright-line finder. Now, I'm able to pack both the Leica IIIf and the Record III in a small satchel when traveling. I even have room left over for small Manfrotto table pod and a Leitz 4/90 lens, with its bright line finder. The above allows for a lot of amateur photography out of a compact camera bag.
I wouldn't worry to much how the bright line finder looks on the Contessa. Just use the Z-I finder for focusing and frame each shot with the finder in the accessory shoe. This is how I use my Agfa Record III.
Seriously, if I could find one of the rarest of rare Zeiss-Ikon 6x6 fold up Albada finders in good condition for my Super Speedex and Isolette III, I'd sell my Rolleicord V with a Maxwll bright screen. Although, I must say the focusing prism on the Maxwell screen is nice to have.

Wow, the color rendition from the Contessa 533/24 is breath takingly beautiful.
