Bronica rf645 pics

Both my RF645 bodies have been reliable with no problems. Except that on one the RF patch is off a hair vertically, not worth servicing. They are very much better made than my Fuji GS645S which has lightweight plastic body construction, and suffered some parts breakage before I got it. My GA645W and GW670III are pretty solid though. The Bronica is very likeable... :)

My RF645 has been holding up. It feels solid in hand, but the film winder assembly really is the weak point. I've had mine CLA'd twice now by Tamrom, last one just a month ago. Yes, they are still offerening service on these. I just take it easy when winding and everything is fine. I have also had the alignment of the patch be off vertically as mentioned above, but Tamron fixed this in the CLA as well.

I'm actually looking for another body to reduce the use of mine by half. Having two would help me get further into the future as this is my favorite camera by far. Also if one died I could use it as a parts camera to keep the other going. I have a feeling these will be available in great shape for years to come on ebay and KEH because it is such a new camera and came out just in time for digital to force many users to abandon it after light use. The prices will keep going up though most likely.

I would very much like to get my hands on RF645 and GA645 (at the same time) Both offer field of view I like so much in a rather compact package.

Time for three more... all taken during one mornings shoot.

Very nice Brian, and inspiring as well. I've had mine for over a year now and still haven't put a roll through it yet. :( How sad and pathetic is that?

My first photo with the RF645. :)

This thread is quickly convincing me that the Bronica RF645 is a perfect travel companion! Excellent shots everyone, thanks for sharing!

These aren't my faves (the first needs more spotting/contrast!), but they do show the tonal competency of the 65 4.0 lens on subjects about which let's just say the photographer was interested but not passionate. (Also uploaded in the RFF gallery earlier--should have EXIF there.)

rhl-oregon, I like the last two!

One more from my last roll with the RF645 and RF45mm:

Thanks Brian!

One more, with the RF645 and RF45mm:

cgryba, the RF645 is really a perfect travel companion like you say. I'm enjoying it everyday... and I "travel" everyday in my own town! ;-)

Shab, thanks for the compliments. And let me add my +1 to the praise for your doorway and balcony--splendor above, squalor below, but living and welcoming.

I think it's on the web, but if anyone can't put their hands on the RF645, there's a useful (image) size comparison to a brass Leica M. Not that different a carry.
