HI all , i just got a brooks veriwide 6x9 camera with schneider 47mm f5.6 lens.
The back is a 4 pin mount. Same as this one

IS it possible to mount a Graflex 2x3 film back on my camera? I have done some searches on Google and ebay. The graflex 2x3 film back does NOT have 4 pin .
Can any one please tell me how can i be able to get a Graflex RH-10 film back mounted on the camera?> Do i need to get something like adapter panel?
Thanks

hello:
that is a Mamiya S shaped back - very desirable. Is it not 6x9?

HI FP, the mount on the back of my lens is like this.
It seems not suitable for Graflex backs

Hello:
You might check with SK Grimes for this type of solution,

if the M or G adapters are not suitable.

Yes, there is an adapter panel. It was part of the Graflex system. I think I got mine from the late Ralph Fuerbringer, who was an expert on the Veriwide and marketed his own modified version.
Here is what it looks like, and my camera with Horseman 6x9 back mounted.
Referring to the recent thread on cult cameras, I would say the Veriwide with the 47/5.6 is one of them. It's a fantastic lens. Enjoy.

Besides being enormous, the stock Mamiya back for the Veriwide is prone to light leaks at the darkslide opening. Feurbringer told me this was because the light trap is only spring steel with no felt. If I'm not mistaken, the Mamiya back is 120/220 compatible.

The dark slide is pretty much unnecessary. I put a narrow piece of gaffer's tape over the opening. All is good.
The large back (not S-shaped) has excellent ergonomics. Very easy to hold.

Hi - maybe this has been answered, but all you need is the "Graflok back adapter" from a Graflex XL camera. This adapter has the four pins to mount on the Veriwide and with it you can use the Graflex RH8, RH10 and RH12 backs, as well as Horseman and Mamiya RB67 film backs. I might have an extra one; send me a message if you're interested.
