Building a Voigtländer Prominent system

I'm thinking about getting a EX/EX- Prominent II instead of repairing this one. It would cost me about double, with an Ultron, the service cost for my current one. The only thing that holds me back is the risk of another braking copy and the fact that with sevice my current one should be usable for years for sure.

Edit: It wasn't as EX as I thought as the lens apparently has cleaning marks (do people use sandpaper?) and the viewfinder is slightly cloudy.

It looks like I will have to skip Zacks, even though I would love to send it to him. He has been extremely helpful but I found out that I would have to pay some serious tax and duty on the repair being performed outside of EU, kind of brutal actually. I'll have to think about it and check the market once more.

I have the first version Prominent with the Skoparon 35mm lens and the Nokton 50/1.5.. I also have the VF. The camera had a stuck shutter when I bought it.

I fixed the shutter! I went berserk, removed it and hit it with the plastic handle of a screwdrived in different spots and suddenly it just started to work.

Now, I created a new problem, the shutter button is jammed and I can't figure out how to engage the lever that is supposed coupled to the plate in front of the shutter pin?

I've haven't owned a Prominent yet (I missed out on one the other day), however I expect I could repair it if I did. So in the interim, I can only offer some general advice:

Stop hitting it!
It won't help.

Cheers,
Brett

Now I only need to learn how to unlock the shutterbutton/winding lever and how to engage the pin back into the plate that moves the shutterpin. Looks hard though.
