I'm interested to in tha status of the DIY-digital rangefinder, but I think it's nearly impossible to do. Because it's not only fitting a ccd in the camera, you need hard- and software to create and store the images, you need to be able to change the shutterspeeds,...

But maybe he's just a handy guy (which I'm not) 😎

Only problem is that a DCS420 back would literally predate the tiny fed 🙂 Where's my camera !? Ah look, it fell inside the back...

Thanks for the query. I am still bogged down with other R&D projects, but winter's almost here. Hopefully I will have time for this soon. I am mostly taking film photos, using digital only to document work activities.
