Speak of the Devil
I have been out of RFs for a bit and have missed shooting with one, money being tight I chose to try out a Kiev kit this time and am almost done...
I picked up a Kiev 4M and 4AM in one auction, with cases and a J8 & Helios 103. Bought a J12 from David in Cali and a J9 in another auction.
Finding a good finder for a decent price is a bit more difficult as I didnt want a turret finder due to the height. I picked up a Kodak Retina finder that has 35 & 80 setting and is low profile. Hopefully it will work ok.
I will probably just keep the 4AM and the Jupiter lenses. I will probably put the 4M and Helios up for sale here for cheap. All I need now is a meter and am on the hunt for a decent cheap meter, probably will go with an older Gossen Luna Pro since I already have a couple of Wein 625s I bought and didnt use. Just hoping the 4AM is in good condition. If there are problems I will probably send it in for a CLA, it will cost me $100 but will be ready for use and wont have to worry about it for a while, maybe I wont have to...we will see.
Anyway I found the Kiev Survival Site so that is a pretty good resource and we shall see how I do with a FSU camera. Look forward to chatting with you other Kiev and FSU owners here on RFF.

Speak of the Devil
Thanks for the email address, I will shoot him an email. I picked up a Gossen Luna Pro CDS, uses the old batteries but I may just pick up an adapter instead of using the old batteries. I paid $48 with the spot attachment and cases.
