Buying camera just because of the lens.

I bought a Kiev on eBay because the shutter on my Contax has become unreliable. The Zeiss and Nikkor lenses work well on the Kiev, and I got a bonus, a Helios 103, 1.8/53 lens. I have not used the Helios yet, but the Kiev works perfectly. It's not a Zeiss, but it works.

Yes. I bought this camera quite recently for the lens, which is basically the Electro 35 lens in M42 mount.
