Here a few of my initial attempts with the C Sonnar 50/1.5 ZM. All of these are at f 1.5. These are from 2490 X 1960 lab scans (jpegs).
There's a couple more here:

I must say that I am not comfortable with the 50mm FOV. I plan to shoot with this lens on my camera as much as possible while I acclimate. I'll post a few additional photos in different circumstances as they are born. I'll plan to shoot some fine-grained color before too long.
This lens' short length makes the ZI seem more like a daily camera. I am pleased with the performance. As with the Biogon 35/2 ZM, I find that I hardly have to adjust curves in LightRoom to get a pleasing image. This is quite different from my other lenses (Nikkor LTM, AI, AIS and Mamiya/Sekor M42). But this difference is probably due to the fact that these lenses are 50-25 years old. Still, I think the ZMs' contrast is a joy to use. I'm sure I'd find similar results with modern lenses from C.V. and Leica.

Looks like a nice lens for its price.
Having said this, I see coma on the points of lights near the edges.
BTW, having points of lights near the edges is the best way to reveal any weaknesses when the lens is wide open.
Just FYI: If you stop it down, the coma will disappear.
