A rather sentimental pair for me. The X700 was my dad's camera and it was the one he used to photograph me when I was just a baby. He passed it on to me about 5 years ago. My wife and I lost almost everything in a house fire. I lost about 50 cameras (some to the fire, some to looters before the insurance adjuster could come and take note of what was in the house). I thought this camera was gone, but when we were sifting through what was left in the house, I found it in the bottom of a plastic bin in my closet. My cameras have changed a lot over the years, but this camera will always remain with me. Film may die, but I will always have this camera. And so will my children. And their children.

The watch is a Charles Hubert that my wife gave me on our wedding day. Other than cameras and fountain pens, watches are one of my most favorite things. I don't own but a couple, and none of them are anything other than a daily watch, but this... this is special. It too will stay with me and hopefully my son (or son-in-law) will wear it one day.

Great thread you guys!
