Camera Bag for the M8

For those that have a Billingham Hadley Pro, can I ask if will it fit an 8.5x11 laptop computer (say between the camera dividers and the inside back of the bag) in addition to an M body and a couple lenses?

I need a low key carry-on bag (international size) that will hold my small XPS Dell laptop along with its AC changer, an M with lens attached, as well as an additional lens, an Ipod, a book or two, and other essential carry-on items (passport, tickets, etc...). Is the Billingham Hadley Pro the right bag?

Hi Rod !
I'm using a Billingham 335 for exactly that purpose.
The quality is (of course for any Billingham) excellent.
It's a bit complicated sometimes with all its belts and stuff but I'm generally very satisfied.
I'm also having the Back Pack Harness which comes in handy if you get tired of carrying it on the shoulder(s).

I use this bag as my every day bag.
If I'm out just out for a photo trip (without the need for a notebook and other everyday stuff) I'm using the Billingham Leica bag.

Regarding a computer in the Hadley Pro, I stick an HP 2400 (11.1 x 8.38 x 0.976 in) between the rear wall of the bag and the padded "bucket" that the camera stuff goes into. It fits perfectly even if I leave my Sprint broadband card sticking out of the side (another inch or so). There's enough room so that I can keep an umbrella in the outter zipper pocket, too.

The only thing is that you'll have no padding on the externally facing side of the laptop. Since I always have the bag slung over my shoulder, I figured my own ample padding would keep the laptop more than safe.

Billingham Hadley series, S3, L2 or Billingham for Leica are good choices.
I also have Domke F5xB, too. But the zip will scratch the camera or lense and the quality of the partition is not durable. It may not as hard enough as you use at the begining. If you don't mind, the look is cool after you use for several years.
