Nothing to do with 'photography' but , since March my wife has been battling kneck cancer .
I go with her to appointments at Guys Hospital in London and and hang around in the coffee shop , or walk about London Bridge area .
It has returned , so not sure about the next phase .
We are switching, on Wednesday , to another hospital for another opinion for less invasive surgery

A camera is ESSENTIAL , mainly the Fuji X-Pro 1 / 27mm both to catch snap shots of the area , AND as kind of comfort zone helping with the zoning out created by the disorienting glitch similar to ASD , but not diagnosed and severe Gender Dysphoria whereby I just don't get guy/girl/me ? .
It's not just out and about , a camera of some description has been with me from around 1965.
In fact the X-Pro/X-T and cheap and cheerful X-M1 [ the X-pro body 27mm needed a mini zoom ] are next to me all the time .

The Fuji X-Pro1 and X-T1 , kit lenses and 27mm fulfilling all my very modest means are perfect in their old school styling and handling reminiscent of my much Loved Minolta SRTs.
I like to use the X-Pro with OVF and 27mm - the field of view is very similar , and once exposure is sorted , i just go with in idiot mode plus that welcome exposure compensation dial.
Poor cameras reduced to point and shoot !!

I know that it's odd , I know that I am odd , but it works to keep me grounded in some way - I have been conditioned to 'see' in terms of a 50mm lens [ old money ] as i need to filter too much input .
regards
